With over 20 years in recruitment and having navigated several career pivots myself, I knew firsthand how powerful coaching can be. That’s why I created the Recruiter Coaching Programme – to support other women in the industry in shaping careers and businesses that truly work for them.
This is not recruitment sales training or a ‘how-to’ on the day-to-day recruitment processes – most of us already know what we “should” or “could” do…but being told what to do doesn’t necessarily lead to lasting change. Recruiters are great at helping others land their next role, but that doesn’t always mean they have their own career all figured out. You can write a strong CV, guide others through changing jobs, and still find it hard to create a career that actually makes you feel happy, motivated, and fulfilled. That’s because it’s much harder to get perspective on your own path. You can’t “coach yourself” out of self-doubt or uncertainty about what’s next.
A coach helps you step back, see things clearly, and work through the challenges you rarely make time to face – from imposter syndrome and a dip in motivation, to returning after a break, navigating change, or redefining what success really means to you. It is true that many recruiters ‘fell’ into the industry without a long-term plan, and without direction it’s easy to feel stuck, burnt out, or disillusioned.
